Lapel pins are the ideal choice for promoting your company, organization or event. They can also be used for employee recognition or sports trading. They are inexpensive and get the message across. Custom lapel pins can be manufactured using many different processes, including: Hard Enamel, Imitation Hard Enamel, Die Struck Soft Enamel, Photo Etched Soft Enamel, Silkscreened, or Offset Printing. We also provide lapel pins made from soft PVC material.
See below for the different types of Lapel Pins
The
highest quality process for lasting color and beauty. Designs are stamped,
filled with cloisonné paste made of finely ground powdered colored
glass, fired at high temperature then polished to a smooth, perfect finish.
Invented
a short time ago, this process has almost replaced the hard enamel cloisonné
pins because of lower cost, very similar quality to cloisonné and
faster production time. The ability to match Pantone colors is also more
precise than the cloisonné method.
A
colorful yet less expensive version of hard enamel cloisonné and
imitation hard enamel. Recessed metal areas are color filled by hand with
soft enamel and then baked to harden. Clear epoxy domes are available
to seal in colors and protect the surfaces but are not necessary.
An
excellent method for reproducing small details. The photographic process
is combined with an acid bath which etches designs in the metal. Each
color is hand filled and baked for durability. Clear epoxy domes are available
but not necessary.
A
die is made and then struck directly into the metal. This process provides
beautiful contrast with a variety of finishes such as sandblasting or
two-tone finishing. A 3-dimensional look can be produced with cut-out
letters or using a cubic die.
Both
silkscreen printing and offset printing are good solutions for presenting
photographs, complicated designs, and gradual colors. With this process,
it is not necessary to separate different colors with metal. In order
to avoid colors being scratched, we always provide clear epoxy domes which
are included in the price.
